Working on replacing the header gaskets.

Finally got the header gaskets replaced. Man that job sucks!!! Car seems to run better not but I’ll continue to monitor it for awhile and hope the CEL doesn’t come back.

Glad you got it fixed

I think I seen your post on one of the Facebook groups regarding the cam chop. Todd Warren cams yeah?

Yes. I changed the mass air and even though it was a ln exact replacement it caused it to run rich and idle higher. I took that one out and put the old one back in and all is good.

Been a few hundred miles and no CEL. I’ll call this problem solved. Be careful washing your motor!

I washed my motor a couple of weeks ago and the problem came back lol. I found water in a connector on the passenger side. Blew it out and everything went back to normal.
