Does anyone have or know if this thing works???
A.K.A. , most of u know im a quadrapligic and i am installing a Joystick system for me to drive my stang, (like my van has heres some pics below) and i crurently have a stock AOD tranny,that i was going to build to the hill to handle my 700+Hp 331 twin turbo motor im slowly building(btw with race gas more boost and some nitrous i hope to push 1000+Hp,anyway back to the tranny)....
Now the Powertrain Control Solutions Automatic Transmission Controller, says it will work with a AODE, and E4OD, and i will be able to program the tranny shift points and also BE ABLE TO PADDLE SHIFT THE TRANNY, now this is what im intrested in cus i cant use my hand/wrist/fingers/ so my right had will be straped in by a glove to the joystick, and that controls GAS,BRAKE, and STEERING, and theres no way for me to manuly shift a auto tranny for racing, or just for fun.... Now i was thinking of useing my left arm to hit buttons that can mount on the door panel so i can UPSHIFT and DOWNSHIFT, Now my question is, will this kit work for my situation??
Is there anyting like this system out there, or some other way to shift with bottons???
BTW here is the joystick system im putting in my stang, it has a joystick running to two computers, hooked up to two servos, one for steering, one for gas an brake..
