Something small like a mirror can be sprayed in at home. You can buy your color based on the paint code found inside the door jam. Buy adhesion promotor, 600 grit sandpaper, self etching primer, base color, and finally 2K clear. This works out great for small parts. I've done this before on my f-150 and within a few hours, you have a freshly painted mirror and you didn't have to pay hundreds at a bodyshop.
