I just got my car painted last summer and I garage it over the winter.. Due to the bugs and rocks on some of the highways I've started to notice that there are chips all over my front bumper and it looks like complete ass.

Anyone know anything to prevent/fix this?

Who did the prep work? A properly prepped and painted bumper should not chip like that

welcome to my world... less than a year later and my front bumper looks like complete crap.

my painter didn't use any flex agent--you best believe he is repainting it for free.

i've read that an extra coat of wax on the front bumper and hood help prevent rock chips--so does driving too much on the expressway, heh.

You could get a clear bra after you get it repainted. That's what I'll probably do after mine gets repainted. Won't be anytime soon though.

Mine is the same. Ive heard that you have to bake the paint dry to avoid that.

I plan on getting a 3M clear bra when I get my new bumper and get it painted.
