Can anyone tell me where I can get a sample of a dupont fleet color on a board or one of those small sample pieces? I have specific paint codes for my car (Dupont Fleet 44490 and Dupont Fleet 44435, Yes it is an Eleanor), but the guy doing the paint for me only uses one company because of warranty issues and quality. I am definitely having him do all the work, but he says he only uses the paint he is comfortable with or else he doesn't do it. Because of the quality of his work and price, I am not going to take it anywhere else. He said he is 100% sure he can match any color out there and has even matched harley colors exact. So I want to get a panel of the colors I need and then he has a ton of those sample paint colors with numbers, I would prefer to match it by sight as well as code. I have read that the generic color comes out much darker, so this is why I do not trust just code matching, and would prefer to see it. Anyway, I would like to know where I can get or order the color samples that garages carry so I can match it. If anyone has these or can get them, I would gladly pay for shipping.
