Paint, in OEM color

Now that I have a friend with painting equipment that knows how to paint, a paint job is looking like it's not too far down the line. My question is does anyone know of a good company that can closely match the OEM classic colors? Or can pretty much any place that sells paint match them? It will be a basecoat/clearcoat job. Right now I just want to start looking over colors and deciding what I like.

Thanks

Any reputable paint store should be able to match an OEM color. But I think you might be out of luck if you choose Krylon brand paint.

Just get the paint code that you want to use and then talk to the sales monkey.
What he said!:nice:
A reputable automotive paint supplier will have a "cookbook" that tells them how much of each primary tint goes into the OEM color, and they mix it up from there!:nice:
Run like hell if the sales monkey tells you that they "can't get that color anymore!" because he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about!
