Dont know if any of you guys have the original paint on your car. I found a mustang white with original paint on it. I seems to shine up nice, a little dull in the nose but I think I can buff it out, just not cleaned or waxed recently. But I am not sure of how long a paint job from the factory can last. The cars a '92 and has been garaged or covered most of its life. What do you guys think?

The paint from 92 should have decent life. I think it was around 91 (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) when they started putting clearcoat on them, the paint before then fades really bad. The back half of my 90 is original, its faded pretty bad.

White Foxes were never clearcoated. Ford didn't start clearcoating white until Crystal White in 94. My 93 still wears most of it's original paint and it looks like new. It is all about how well it has been treated.

my 91 has had the front clip repainted and you can tell b/c the back half has such a thin layer of paint that the front looks like its a diff. shade. but it does shine up nice as well

My old GT was original Oxford White. It polished up NICE but definitely showed wear on the roof. when I put the cobra bumper on, it looked different because the paint was cleared. It shined a little whiter.
