Paint related question

I am about to start stripping and priming the fastback and parts. (completley disassembled) I bought PPG DP90LF epoxy primer and Omni AU MX190 metal cleaner/degreaser. I am not sure what to wipe the metal with when I apply the cleaner. Lint free rags? Also is there a website that has info on the whole cleaning/priming procedure? This is my first time with epoxy primer. If I have to go buy another can my wife will kill me.

Yes lint free rags. Also make sure they dont have any oils inbeded in them. The place you bought your paint will have rags for that purpose, if not you can do what i do. where i work we have these heavy brown rolls of paper towels in our restroom. These are the ones that you have to tear off and are thick dark brown. You know the kind where if you dont give a real good yank to tear it you end up with the whole roll unraveled on the floor. These work well for me. Before actually painting though I always have a srap body panel that I prep just like the item im actually painting and i test my paint on it before hand so i can fix any problems. This works especially well for clearcoat testing incase you need to reduce more or change the speed of your reducer. GOOD LUCK.
