I dont know how you do it Oink!! You take that car apart like nothing, and then put everything back neatly. I wish I could do that to mine, but it would hurt to see my car that way for so long. Looks good man!
That looks incredible Mike. Once you smoothed out the welds, what is that coating/primer that you applied? (the white base coat) I am beginning a similar project and was wondering what you used. Thanks
its a filling primer.. shi* works great with a couple coats, great at hiding/filling in most of the small stuff.
Primer was also wetsanded before the base was applied.
4 coats of Dupont base, and 3 coats clear is what it took.
could you go into a little more detail on filling the holes with filling primer?? I have no idea what it is lol. I'm trying a similar project and would like to get a smooth finish like that. Right now I have some metal filler in a tube that I was going to fill the rough spots with.
