A popular consensus with us on Stangnet is that less is more when it comes to our Foxbody 5.0's. The body is nearly perfect just as it came right off the lot. Add some stance, maybe some tint, and some clean (not too big) wheels and you have all the appearance mods that you need. You do too much and it just won't do the car justice. Most of our "mods" are just restoring old brittle and faded trim or are beneath the surface. If you're really itching for one of the best mods you can do to your vert then do a 5 lug swap with cobra brakes all around. Nobody will argue that and it will increase the desire and value of your car to anyone.

Just my $.02

I prefer the essential mods

  • chrome windshield wipers
  • curb feelers
  • Tornado Air filter
  • huge tires on the rear that stick out an inch on each side
  • cutting coil springs
  • removing all smog equipment just because
  • removing the A/C and P/S because RACECAR
  • Stickers- lots of stickers, prefereably for parts I never installed yet

About 2hp each.... this information comes directly from ricer racing.

.... what lenses do you need to purchase to do the hid conversion correctly? At least we can get him moving in the right direction.

I prefer the essential mods

  • chrome windshield wipers - I prefer neon green
  • curb feelers - would it be gey if I put them on the drivers side too?
  • Tornado Air filter - sucks old dudes banana hammocks right off
  • huge tires on the rear that stick out an inch on each side -
  • cutting coil springs - I did this
  • removing all smog equipment just because - i did this too, I'm cooler than I thought
  • removing the A/C and P/S because RACECAR - I removed A/C, shaves a ton of weight off like removing bumper supports
  • Stickers- lots of stickers, prefereably for parts I never installed yet
