Has anyone on these forums bought these? If so, I'd like to know your experience in installing them and what you think of them (before I take a chance on getting a pair.) Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Here's the link:

I bought mine straight from MidWest AutoGear. They fit perfect, paint match was right on, and I've had no problems with them at all.

Paint match is perfect and installation takes just a couple of minutes. I bought them for both of my cars, though I now have the Agent 47 mirrors on my '07.

I also have them. They look great and installation was easy. Check Mid-West Auto's Web site.

Okay, I'm convinced and I ordered mine from American Muscle. However, if you go on their site 2005+ Mustang Painted Mirror Covers - Vista Blue at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!, you will find that for some colors, like Vista Blue and Lime Green, the covers fit all the way to the top of the mirror, whereas for other colors, the black strip shows at the top for about 3/4 inch. Now why is that? Wonder why they aren't made uniformly for all colors? I ordered the Vista Blue, of course, and I sure do hope they fit as pictured for that color and go all the way to the top w/o leaving that black strip: !

They all leave the black strip. Either the picture is a different mirror cover from a different company, or it's just the angle. The inserts are made to fit inside the inset area of the mirror, so if you go look at your mirror, you can see exactly where it will fit. The 2 tone looks nice, though.
