Painted side mirrors

I was wondering if it was possible to have a shop paint the stock side mirrors, or if you need to order new side mirrors...i don't see why they couldn't paint the stock ones, but maybe i'm missing something?

You can have the stock ones painted, the shop will just sand them down before painting. Maybe you can pick up some already painted 03-04 Cobra mirrors. Anyone know if that would work? Dont see why it wouldnt

I think I saw somewhere that the Cobra mirrors will work on 99+ but not 94-98's.

Thanks for the tips...I'll price out the cost from the shop and the cost for 03 Cobra mirrors...trying to be frugal on the looks so i have more $$ for mods

Thats a good write-up. That guys car is awesome. The mirrors look great and those chrome Bullit wheels look awesome on it. side exit exhaust on a mach 1 = Is that the Roush kit???

Thats not my site, but my buddy used it and they look bad Azz. If you want to come to Dallas he will do then for a case of beer

This is a great mod. It really sets off the car. I had mine done 3 weeks ago only cost me $50.

How does the paint hold up to the elements? My stang sits outside a lot....was thinking about painting the mirrors but I wasn't sure if it would hold up well enough.

Its the same paint that is own the car it self so if you keep it waxed it should be just fine.
