painting badges

im sure a lot of you knwo what teh GT badges look like - chrome GT lettering with black in the middle. has anybody used touch up paint to color in the black part to match the vehicle? i knwo touch up paint doenst mathc perfectly, but i have a touch up paint pen and was wondering how it would look.

i knew a guy who did it on his wrx and it looked pretty sweet, not sure if he used a touch up pen or not but he had a black car and did his badges black, looked hot IMO

I replaced my GT badges just a few days ago with painted 4.6 badges. They are blue, but not matched to my Vista Blue. I thought about painting them to match, but I kind of like the slight contrast.
