painting trim

i want to paint the side moulding black on my 93 4 banger coupe. what do you use to prep and paint? also will paint the mirrors, and cowl vent. thanks

When i had my car painted last month i had the body shop do all my trim & mirrors in black satin finish.I think they gave it a fine sanding (1/4 window moldings were kinda rough) then "degreased" with laquer thinner...then painted.
