Was wondering if these parts are overkill for a daily driver car with aspirations for high 11's? Car sees minimal track time and takes me to work everyday. I don't do any other racing so I'm thinking I could better invest the money elsewhere, or will they really make a much needed and noticeable improvement in my daily driving?

Hi, I got the panhardbar from MM and it is being installed tomorrow by my mechanic..I asked him about it and he said its more for road racing..He also noted my car can outhandle a porsche and smoke his doors off..I don't regret it and I dont think it is overkill for the street..It makes it handle better and I feel as if any mod or upgrade on your stang is for the better..I was having issues about traction, my LX would get severly squirrly in 2-3 gear like I could punch it in 2nd, shift to third and punch it again and feel the car lose traction and if I didnt let off the pedle the car would do a 360..I figure I need to get my susp. dialed in and this included a panhard bar.. I'd get one...makes for a more badass setup...

At least get the PHB for daily driving. It not only makes curved onramps fun, but made my car more stable on crappy roads, and just regular around town driving. I have a TA on my car as well. It introduced some minor vibrations in to the car, but it's not that bad. I had both of these put on before the 327 in sig was put under the hood. After the TA was installed, it became impossible to spin the tires from a roll in 1st gear (just mashing the gas) It really helped traction. With the 327 now, there is NO problem roasting the tires :rlaugh:

If you get the Maximum Motorsports TA, you'll have to modify your H/X pipe. The crossover is in the same place as the crossmember for the TA. If you don't modify your mid-pipe, your exhaust will hang low, scrape on EVERYTHING and bring more vibrations in to the car. If you get the Griggs TA, I don't believe you'll have the exhaust interference, but you'll have to run a custom driveshaft if you want an aluminum piece. The Ford Racing alum shaft will hit the crossmemeber for the Griggs TA (clears MM TA though...I have both-Ford Alum D/S and MM HD TA) I think Griggs makes a D/S that clears, but it's pricey.
