is 4.25" the bolt pattern spacing? If so, the 4.5's definetly will not fit.

What kind of wheels are they? Didn't they just look up "mustang wheels" when they bought them off of e-bay??? the only two sizes that mustangs have ever been is 4x4.25 and 5x4.5......did you even check if they're 4L or 5L wheels yet?? Who told you they were 4.5? Maybe the person who sold them is stupid too....just try to mount the damn things and save us the trouble of guessing

you could just do this the easy way:
measure the bolt pattern on the new wheels (you use the bolts across from each other and go from center to center) and then measure it on the lug pattern. Takes less then a minute(assuming you can read a ruler...) to determine if its gonna fit or not.

The old mustangs, 64-70ish 6cyl cars had a 4x4.5 bolt pattern and I don't think the newer pattern fits.

Unfortunately, the Fox is 4 x 4.25"

The SN95's are 5x4.5"

the bolt pattern for a fox body is 4-4.25, depending on the offset of your wheels yo may be able to buy 20mm aluminum adapters to change the bolt pattern from 4.25 to 4.5. i work in a tire store and sell custom wheels for a living if you have any questions you can e-mail me at capri5.0@adelphia.net

freakin A the bolt pattern doesnt even matter. cuz the 4.5 would be too big so they would still fit but not right. well i guess the wheels were off of a honda (no not rice) and the backspacing is for a FWD so they hit the shock so i gotta put em on ebay again.

They are centerlines..they look sweet...even better if they fit.

thanx guys....im still screwed though

Sorry to hear than man. I know you have been trying to get a new set of wheels for the stang. But look on the bright side, at least you will come away with some knowledge, and that is worth its weight in gold.
