My friends looking to get a belt to emilinate his smog-pump and a/c at the same time..... Its on a 90lx 5.0 ....... I would anyone by chance have the part number for the shorter belt ??... Also had anyone else done this and remember if it made any difference at all ??? thanx for any help... :flag:

the a/c compressor spins freely, so that doesnt rob any power, to just eliminate the smog, you need an 84.5 belt, gains are only really shown when by passing the power steering too with a 70.5 belt.

sorry no part numbers, but goto your local parts store and find somone who knows what they are doing and ask for that length s-belt.

measure, dont ask other peoples size...otehr peoples belts sizes wont match yours 7/10 times...hook up your new system, then route a rope around it and get the size. go to store, tell them u need that length In a 6 rib serpentine belt. DONT LISTEN TO ANYONES SIZES. You will be back and forth to the parts store numerous times. and u probably will need to go 2 times unless u get lucky the first time. and a heads up for ya. a 73 inch belt is like 10 bucks more than a 71.5. dont ask y, i have no idea lol. i needed a 73 for FMS ac delete and no smog.(removed, no stupid idler pulley) and no underdrives
