well, when i lost that cute little rubber cup holder, i just walked into the parts dept, and told them what i needed (make, model, year and part) and the guy ordered it on the spot, and had it the nexy day. also when i had my cough, 99 cough cougar, cough and the damn plastic sunroof tracks broke, i had them print of an illustrated part breakdown sheet. it had a part # for every part, down to every screw and washer. they can get it for you. if not, they're lying out their asses. mind you, im talking about the PARTS dept, not the service dept. good luck, hope they pull their heads out of their asses and hook you up

Perhaps they were just being nice telling you that stuff instead of owning you for a part that does not exist?

Perhaps you are actually talking about an 03/04 Cobra bumper cover and not a non-existent Cobra chin spoiler? No modern Cobra ever had a chin spoiler although the fabulous Cobra R had an air dam.

The part# for the 03/04 Cobra front bumper cover is M-17957-SC46 and includes lights but will not fit your car easily.

However, the 01 Cobra bumper cover will be a direct fit for your car with no fitment issues and its part number is M-17957-A50 and comes with lights.

Oh, ok... Now it makes sense.

I found an aftermarket one for $150 here:

that ones actually a bit different than the 03/04 cobra wing. its at an angle and sits up higher. almost bought on ebay "03/04 cobra wing" for $100. then i had the guy send me pics of it sitting on the back of his V6, and realized it wasnt the 03/04

In the description it says "with integrated stop lamp", I'm pretty sure you will have to get the wiring harness though.

I am getting it through fords website for employees called FMC dealer. I am a technician so I have a user name and password to access it. I can pretty much access anything that I can at work but at the comfort of my house. Only thing it lacks is our parts department's parts catalog that they use at my work. Its by far more informative and has better diagrams than what I can access through the website.
