Parts question...Mr gasket thermocap

I was about to purchase a mr gasket thermocap from summit...but shipping is ten bucks.

Do you guys think that pep boys or autozone would carry this?

A lot of parts stores do have Mr G catalogs. It seems like AZ has been pretty good about being able to order perf parts and you dont generally have to pay any shipping. Might be worth a shot.

Other folks will have better ideas. Let us know what you think of the cap. You already have a gauge inside the car, right? That'd be much more useful and last longer (caps are perishable).

I just picked one up at the local parts store. "motorad" brand or something like that. Been on the car over a year with no problems.

Yeah I might just order it...im so lazy haha.
Hissin the reason I chose that one is cause I just want to get a reading a couple of times when it gets hot on the freeway.

Disregard my first post, I didn't actually look at it closely. That thermometer feature is actually a pretty neet idea. It would be worth ordering.
