I just purchased a used Paxton Novi 1000 that uses a single belt serpentine system. I have no AC or power steering. I know it has a smog pump idler pulley already built in. So that's a non-issue.

I need to know if anyone here has ran it like this and what issues did you run in to with belt routing?

Also, I was planning to get an electric water pump. Which would again cause a possible issue with belt routing. Anyone here have info on this?

One of the companies sells an electric pump with a idler pulley so that should solve that issue. FWIW i run a stock oem replacement water pump on my car.

After a lot of Google time with no real good information found. I'm pretty damn sure I'll have go old school and just figure it out. Down time is a real pain since it's my daily driver. But I'm sure I can make it happen.

What I don't want to do is have a few idler pulleys. From what I read most people buy 2-3 idler pulleys and install them in the stock locations. I feel that would look horrible and overall just annoy me.
