This may be too vague to begin with but I will try with a short question: I have a 331 with a Paxton 1220SL and Anderson powerpipe. I just got the car finally on the road today after the blower install. The car has a Chipmaster Revolution chip burned for it so it is running a tune. It has all the upgrades - performer II intake heads, comp cam NX264HR (.512), etc etc.
The car is insane now, as it destroys the tires in 1 - 2 - 3 and it feels great. However I have an Autometer phantom 2 1/16" boost / vaccuum gauge installed. For whatever reason is reads at 2 psi when shut off and doesn't reset to zero. When I run the car is reads good vaccuum levels and when I get into it it reads at about 6 psi. I figured that I was running around 4 or do you think it's really making 6? I was hoping for an extra 1-2 with the Anderson otherwise I wouldn't have wasted the cash.
Sorry this is such stupid question but I can't swing the money for the new gauge right now. Just wanted to know your opinions on this.
