i am about to buy a car w/ a novi 1000 on it, and i would like to put the blower on my car.

will i be ok, it is building 7psi on his car.

i have a 93, w/ hyper pistons, will i be ok,

and his ecu id chipped, it is a 89, can i just take his ecu?

Should be fine. Swapping processors is easy enough, or if you'd like you can just swap the chip to your processor.... It'd be good for a base tune, but no two cars are the same and you will need to have it professionally retuned.

Hope you're not buying the car just for the blower. If so, I hope it's real damn cheap.
I've had a Novi 1k for about 3 years now (bought when first came out) and I hate it. Step up to a 2K or go kenne belle. With just a few mods you've probably already outgrown the output of the blower. I got a somewhat similar setup to you and I barely lay down 6-8 pounds of boost.

[edit] I take that back, you're putting down a bit more power than I was when I bolted mine on. Think I was running 105 in the 1/4. From the stock blower, I've added around 500 dollars worth of mods to the blower to get the boost I'm getting. I'm thinking you're going to be pushing 6# max with a 1k.
