oh i thought you meant avoid blowers all together..yea i'm not gonna get that blower its too much of a chance just gonna spend an extra $1000 and get brand new one for $2500 i saw some on ebay for that price i think they only go up to 5 to 6 psi which sucks but guess i have to start somewhere...It seems like vortech is the more popular one but what about Paxton's are they the same quality....

Yeah I didn't say avoid blowers just that one. Just like 90lxcoupe said that one is probably pooched. And he summed it up. It takes a LOT more than bolting on parts to go fast. Plan it out ahead of time to save a lot of money and headaches.

I run high ten's (low tens to come) with a mild 331 and a small Paxton 1220. And the 1220 is advertised at 5-6lbs because of a large 3.8 stock pulley. I saw 7 lbs with an Anderson powerpipe and 10lbs with a 3.33 pulley. There are guys making 500+ with this little blower.

wow 500hp thats crazy never thought a little blower could do that i guess i just have to experiment and see what works..i really dont want anything over 500 so i hope that the small blower will work out..thanks for the info

if these guys are running 500hp of 5-6 psi their motors alone must be putting out like 400hp just on motor right?
