Ya, you don't have to transfer funds into your account. It'll just pull from your bank account.
Just outta curiousity, what you buying? Some parts for the stang?

The cash option (an ACH transfer from your bank) does take 3 to 4 days to clear, almost like a check. If you want something today or in the future, then you need to have a rolling balance of funds in the actual PayPal account.

Otherwise, you can use the credit card option that will pay for something instantly (without a fund balance) but you will incur transaction fees from PayPal.

Make sense?

If it's linked to your bank account, you send money and it takes it right out of the bank account. That is immediate, not 3-4 days. If you transfer funds from the bank TO your paypal account, which will bring the balance up, that'll take a few days as well.

The balance means you have no money in your actual PayPal account. If you were to sell something for $20, the balance would then go up to $20 (minus a fee if you're on a premier account). Then you can transfer that to your bank (3-4 days) or send it directly to someone for some other products. The moneyw ould then come right out of your PP account and not your bank account - unless your PP account couldn't cover the total cost (at which point the balance would be taken right outof your checking account and sent off along w/your PP balance to the seller).

Hopefuly that makes sense

No fees. It's processed similar to a debit card.

His payment will be finalized when the ACH draft clears at your bank from your account TO PayPal. No fees with this option.
