I have a set of 99-03 Cobra calipers, Is there any difference from the calipers from a 94-98 Cobra. As I will be using these on my FOX to Cobra brake upgrade. Thanks for anything fellas.

I dont think anything internally changed on them over the years, but I am pretty sure the thread pitch on the Banjo Bolts changed somewhere along the way.

Well I was gonna be redoing my hardlines on my fox anyway. To prevent any future problems. But mounting wise, if the brackets are the exact same then SWEET, I just got me a brand new set of front calipers fully loaded for less than $160

I don't know about that, but I do believe the 94-98 PBR's had 38mm bores, as opposed to the 99-04's 40mm bores. It's only a small difference. You probably wouldn't notice anyway because the PBR's are SO much better than the factory fox brakes.

Yup, the 99+ Cobra PBR's have 40mm pistons while the 94-98's have 38mm pistons.

Also, banjo bolt thread pitch changed as well.

What thread pitch are both of them then? I know that they're M10...

Also, the bleeder screws have different pitches as well. I beleive the 94-98's are 3/8th and the 99+ switched to M10 metrics. I don't have the exact numbers though.

The Russell Speed Bleeder site lists the Cobra bleeders as M10 x 1.0 for all years. And I know from experience that they are the same as the banjo bolt threads. (Took out the banjo bolt, threads into the bleeder hole) I have 94 Cobra calipers on my 90 notch. They're rebuilt units from Advance, and they have M10 x 1.0 threads in both holes.

I bought my stainless lines from Maximum Motorsports and there are a fine and a coarse thread Banjo bolt for the Cobra Calipers, I believe 1 is M10 x 1.0 and M10 x 1.5

I dunno if you would call the extra 2mm a hell of a difference, but yeah technically the 99+ Calipers are a little bit better.
