PCV for 95 GT???

alright... after searching all the posts... I havent seen anything mentioned specifically for a 95 GT regarding the PCV valve. I have seen a lot posts on fitment regarding aftermarket valves.

What PCV valve will work the best on my car????

Go to discount, autozone, or pep boys and ask for a PCV valve for a 94/95 Mustang GT and they'll get one for you. It will look different than the one on your car right now but its the right one. The new one will be metal and have to vaccume line fittings coming off of it kinda like F <-- that. You'll just have to plug one of thoes fittings up and use the other one.

Why do they put two nipples on there if you only use one? I've heard to stay away from the cheap replacement pcv valves and to get one straight from ford. Has anyone had problems from using a 3 dollar autozone one? Also, do you guys remove anything to get to your valve or do you just stick your hand back there and feel around?

I replaced mine with one straight from Ford. Why mess around with an aftermarket PCV when the Ford parts work fine and are a direct replacement.

because they are usually much more expensive!!

You're talking about a matter of a couple of bucks though. Not a big deal when you know what you're getting is the proper part. I remember buying a cheaper aftermarket PCV for another vehicle I have and it kept popping out. I trashed it and went to Ford for the proper replacement part and had no problems.

Do you have to plug one of the fittings on the ford one or is it just L shaped? Why do the aftermarket ones have a fitting that needs plugged?

No you don't. It's a direct replacement with no monkeying around required. It's not L shaped. It's more llike the shape of a fuel filter with and opening at the top and bottom. It's a straight through design.

The one you want looks like this except it will probably be made out of black plastic from Ford.
The aftermarket PCV I tried for my other car was metal as well. Like I mentioned I landed up tossing it.

Thanks guys, I finally found the pcv on the car. I was looking so hard for so long and it turned out to be more reachable than I thought. So I pulled it out, pulled out the rubber grommet and tryed getting the screen out but it wouldn't come. It looked like square wire mesh with a mess of tangled wires behind it and 3 metal tabs on the top. Do I have to pry back the metal tabs or does the whole thing just pull out? I tried with plyers and coudlnt' get it. Thanks for the info, I'll be going to Ford to get the whole replacment kit soon.

The entire thing comes out. Try using a little hooked pic or something. It should come out fairly easily.

the entire screen comes out, just pinch it with a needlenose if you can't get it with your fingers.

LateModel Restoration Supply, can hook you up with the pcv valve and the replacement screen.
