Any one have picture of where is pcv valve location on 95 gt 5.0, I clean the TB and found alot oil on intake. some peoples say buying from ford dealer, but the kit from advance auto part is ok ? any tips on replace it ? thanks

found it -_-. back to question, the kit from advance auto part, that come with pcv, the rubber and the filter, like under 10 dollar for all, or dealer for 35 dollar ?

If you have the cheddar, get Motorcraft if you can (I would at least use a Motorcraft PCV valve and grommet). Some aftermarket valves don't fit the grommets very tight.

I order a kit from ford 35 dollar, will be here on friday. How do you take the filter off ? take off the grommet out first then filter ? or filter first then grommet ? thanks

Were your ears burning HISSIN? Someone was just talking about you.

That can't be good. :D
I figured I'd check back in and see how everyone was doing. :nice:

KGT, since it sounds like you haven't had the pleasure of pulling the breather/filter before, a telescoping magnet, long needle-nose pliers, a curved dental pick or a drywall screw are amongst the popular methods for pulling it out (ha ha, insert joke here. We're talking about the breather - that other stuff sounds painful)

update : part came today, pcv and filter is motorcraft and grommet is dorman wtf, i got rip off :), anyway the old filter take off the needle nose is all clog up pretty bad, the pcv is new sound like new, but replace all,

the pcv hose is hard and crack at the end, i tape it with some black tape and it all good, imma plan to replace soon.

You ordered a kit from Ford and they sent you a grommet in a Dorman package? The grommet is the most important part IMHO. The last one I got from the dealer was Motorcraft and the last one from LRS was also Motorcraft. That's weird.

Good call on replacing that hose. You might want to replace the other leg of it (at the T).
