ok Im getting a 95 GT from a buddy of mine and it blows the pcv valve out during WOT but doesn't do it and while driving normal. He says it also has a miss to it. He is suppose to bring it down to day and im going to check a few things.

Anyone fill me in on what could cause this. Ive heard and read that it could be cause my blow by.

Blow by could cause it to blow out if the breather or the PCV valve is clogged. Probably take care of itself if you change the PCV valve.

The grommet is probably worn out and loose as well. Be sure to use Motorcraft for the PCV valve and grommet. Aftermarket stuff doesn't fit as tightly together.

If its not blowing out the dipstick too I would just replace the crankcase filter and the valve and grommet, since its probably not blowby if the dipstick isnt coming out too (probably). And like hissin said the best to use would be the oe stuff. Or you can do what I have done to every mustang with this problem and aftermarket grommet/valve. I just wrap the grommet outside that seats against the intake with a good amount of teflon tape. Seals perfect and never lets it budge and even allows the valve to sit in tighter too, but will still come out easy if you need it to.
