I'm putting a new intake in my car and a mechanic at work advised me to get a new PCV valve. I don't have the specs on which PCV I should get for a Cobra intake. I searched Summit and some other parts sites but couldn't find out any info. Any help appreciated.

OEM motorcraft replacement or better. If not naturally aspirated... go with a pcv valve designed for potentially higher crankcase pressures due to blowby (ie turbo coupe , supra etc) Just be sure the diameter of the base is the same. Good Luck

well like I said I believe that as long as you are reusing the grommet and the gromet fits in the bore of the PCV hole, a ford replacement PCV valve would be suitable and you can get them at your local ford dealer. Dont waste your time with aftermarket PCVs from automotive chain stores, they are cheaply made and will easilly gum up and sieze. GOOD LUCK
