I searched through the posts and wasnt sure exactly where or how the best place to vent or bypass the pcv. After the s/c install I drove the car with the pcv in and im not sure if i screwed anything up. Oil blew down the firewall and into the bell but other than that the car runs fine still. The only thing i saw was the pcv sticking out a bit. I only hit it once with radials on it so i dont think anything happend. any ideas.
Thanks for your time

Same thing happened to me man. I got all kinds of different responces. I just use a oil breather cap and the TB to oill filler neck capped off. I just run a stock PCV with the hose running to it from the upper intake. I think I need to do something about that upper intake hose running to the PCV valve. So I will give you a big TTT.

What you need to run is a check valve between the upper intake and the PCV valve. It will keep boost from entering the crankcase and pressurizing it. By doin that it blows the PCV valve out and oil squirts out. The check valve will let pressure out but wont let boost in.

Ok, I had a buick site saved on my computer before, that sold these check valves that supposedly worked real well. But I reformatted and I cant find the link again.

The PCV is a one way system isnt it? Like if you take one in your had and you try to blow down on it, no air will come out the bottom.

Yes the PCV valve is one way only, have you guys replaced your grommet lately?? they get worn out and then the PCV valve gets pretty loose in there and will pop out pretty easy.If you had oil all over your firewall that prolly what happened, replace the grommet (and screen whle your at it) and see if it helps.
