Well, I have been on a crusade as of late to try and fix my fan problem. My high speed fan was not working at all. Tested to make sure that the high speed fan actually did work and it was not the clutch. I hooked it up to the battery and sure enough it worked. SO.............

I went to a junkyard looking for a replacement. I know that all v-6 mustangs have a 1 speed fan. I had heard that the CCRM does not have a high-speed relay in it, so they wont work. Every v-6 mustang CCRM number i saw, all 94-96 models, had a f4ze-12b...... number. I looked at more mid-ninety ford cars. Every car with a two speed fan had a CCRM of f4se, f5se, f6se, and everyone that had a 1 speed fan, missing a wire in the three pin fan connector, had f4ze, f5ze, f6ze. So, i thus concluded that the se family was the one i wanted. I wasnt 100% sure it would work in my car, and the place wanted 50 bux for it. So i left!

Well, i found another junkyard that only wanted 15 bux for there CCRM. I looked around and most cars were old mid 80s and such. But, they actually had a 1998 mustang gt with engine intact. I grabbed the CCRM and it had a f8ze part number. I was worried that the f8 being 98 might not work but it had an S/N number of f6se-..... Ford had told me that a replacement CCRM was f7cz-12bf77-aa so i figured i would give it a shot. Sure enough the car runs correctly and the high speed fan works.

Summary: I believe that any ford car with a CCRM and a two speed fan will work for our 1994-1995 CCRM replacement. I did try a 98 Mustang GT's CCRM and it did work. I dont see ford making a separate CCRM for everycar. I believe that v6 ones will work if they have a two speed fan and the connector actually has all three wires in it.
