does any one know if my stang will pass inspection . they do OBDII testing 96 and up . i have an 06 roush with a intercooled magnacharger & SCT 2 tune . no check engine light and no codes . can a regular OBDII computer read a flashed computer ? If it can i should be ok .

You should be fine. I am running an offroad x pipe and my tune has turned off the o2 sensors, and I pass with flying colors.

I plan to reflash my Stang to stock before taking it in for the inspection just to play it safe. That was the recommendation of the inspector when I was in for the inspection on my wifes Magnum. I trust the guy as he's been inspecting my cars since the first time I was stationed here, back in 1986.

Oh snap...this is good news for me. I have shorties, o/r H, and mufflers and am afraid I may not pass...hopefully they don't do a sniffer test.

Just had mine inspected last month.

The guy plugged into the OBD II connector to check for codes.
He told me they no longer check the exhaust emissions. Whew!

Then he took a quick look around and under the car.
He did look for my cats, which are still in place.
Apparently if you take them off the car will not pass.
