Ok so tonight I met up with a buncha friends by my house and we were just hanging out. There is a cul de sac where we meet and we had 3 cars and we were all parked and were just hanging out talking and chucking a tennis ball around. There is this 4 eyed schmuck(no offense to those of you who wear glasses) that is always watching us from his window. And its the same thing everytime. We never cause trouble and no one else complains. So this dick decides to come outside to go and throw out his garbage at the garbage room. So he walks by the front of my car looks at my license plate and keeps walking. Then he stops and writes on a peice of paper. So I was like "Yo buddy what do you need my license plate number for?" he ignores me and keeps walking so I ask him again. He turns around and is like "excuse me?" so I ask him again and he says "I like to take notes.." and keeps walking. So now im pissed because there was no reason for that, he might as well write everyones ****ing license plate down for that matter. So after an hour of walking and his wife watching us out the window he comes walking back, but before that he had to sneak around to see if we were still there. He had his phone out all ready to call the police when he walked by too. And he quickly went into his house. Now im not a scary looking dude or anything, maybe it was the fact that there was 8 of us. Either way im scared he was ****ting his pants the freakin gutless worm. Dont you all hate people that do that?

Well, you shouldn't pay him that much attention. He's a powerless smuck and by giving him a reaction, your making him feel powerfull. I hate those types too. What I hate is when they call into the police saying your doing things your not. I had a neighbor call the cops saying I was holding a street racing event in the nieghborhood.

I dont think he felt that powerful at all, he looked pretty scared when he had to come back by us. He might end up with a potato in his tailpipe though!

Well hold on now- I've been victim of that myself, but-

Are you sure you weren't keeping them up at night?

Do you live in that cul de sac?

Maybe he's found stuff missing and assumes it's you guys?

You never know but there is usually a reason.

Most people (most) work like I do from 8-5 Monday thru Friday. It's hard as hell to get up in the morning when people are out carrying on and such at late hours... not saying you did but I'm just playing Devil's advocate.

I would just ask him nicely if you guys are causing him any problems.

Strype has a good point...(wow..I agreed with Strype.. )

There are some 14-18 year olds a couple of houses down from me that like to hang out during the week and play there raft thumping junngle music all hours of the night. The lack of respect for other people and there desire to get a good nights rest is what gets notes taken about you/your car.

Now..I'm not saing you guys were making noise or being too loud, but, think about it before you get all upset at this guy. I've got a kid, when he's your age, he's going to want to hang out with his buddies too, I would like for him to be able to do that from time to time. But, if he's keeping people up and bothering them...I'll be the first to kick his ass and make him stop.

Be considerate of your neighbors/friends neighbors...that's all...

... especially when it's your mom that's in there with her!!!

I agree, maby you were making noise, but then again, maby you weren't. Your neighbor did not handle the situation like a man. See, if you were in my neighborhood, keeping me up, I would go and just ask for y'all to keep it down because I'm trying to sleep, because I know that you would take consideration because I would do the same for you. Right?

Neighbors have to live togeather, so it's best to try to get along. I've lived in neighborhoods where everyone was straightup with everyone, there were virtually no problems. I have also lived in the oppisite, and little situations turn into feuds.

Yep. I get up at 3:30am just to be to work by 5:00am Monday thru Friday. Yes it does suck when people are being noisy outside but I usually just deal with it because it would be kind of absurd for me to complain about noise at 7:30pm.

But still...

I agree. When i was younger i always used to be pissed off when my friends and I were just hanging out in front of the house at night talking. We weren't really doing anything wrong (in my eyes) and yet were always getting the cops on our case.

Now as i sit here 5-6 years later, i look back and those times and say that my friends and I were total dicks and if I was my own neighbor i would have called the cops too.

I agree that while you have good intentions of just hanging out, sometimes you gotta be inconsiderate of other people. I used to get pissed all the time when the high school kid who lived diagonally across the street from me would sit in front of his house til 2AM with his friends keeping me up. He probably thinks he is not doing anything at wrong but when it's that late at night you can hear every F-bomb they drop from my bed even if it's normal volume.

Which brings me to a second totally unrelated point. DON'T SWEAR IN PUBLIC. It's just unclassy when some 16-18 year olds walk into a public restaraunt, or the mall or somewhere where there are little kids around using foul language and sexual language. Everytime i go to the mall i want to punch out some punk HS kids saying F-this and F-that for the whole mall to hear

Some of my neighbors are pretty cool, some are douches. One night my parent were out of town and I have a pretty long drive way for being in a neighborhood, we mustof had 7 cars in my driveway, 3 ofem blazers with tail gates down, sittin back and talkin in my driveway, probably close to midnihgt my bneighbor walks out and kindly asks us to tone it down alittle, I liked tyhis neighbor so we all just went inside and ended up gettin ****faced inside, probably better lol...

Thats a hilarious idea!

But I live like 3 houses down from the cul de sac and my friends have there garages there so its just a convenient meeting spot. This guy has seen us there about 20 times and we have never cause him or anyone else any trouble ever. We aren't even loud, it was 10 o'clock when this all occured. I was going to ask him on his way back if we were causing him trouble but he was to freaked out. He was already to get on his phone and call the cops, so I figured I should just leave him be. He is obviously a paranoid freak.
