That's not very high of a mark. Once you have that for a week you'll want real numbers.

Im trying to be comservative. Its going on a stock block, i'd prefer not to melt the pistons.

What rwhp is actualy safe to make before the motor decides to go on permanant vacation?

Depends on the tune, but if you see 400rwhp, you're on borrowed time. I've had 423rwhp on a stock block and it did fine.

Thats why i was thinking 380 wouldnt be a problem. I've talked to most of the performance places local and they say 380 is a good safe number.

Being blown is great hahahhaa. With the stock pulley and power pipe, my numbers are in my sig. It maxed the fuel pump at 5800 though which I dont like. Also, I have a choppy tune with timing set really really safe. So I have some more left in it for sure. Should be good for over 400 Im pretty sure, but gotta fix the fuel system first.
