Performance automatic valve bodies...

Hi;

I run a '67 C-4 in an early 65 coupe with:

- Full Manual, reverse valve body
- non-decompression first gear
- stainless splines
- 2800 Stall

The entire set-up cost me ~ $2300.

It is by far the fastest shifting xmission I have ever had. I now run 275/50 R15s but before that I had 225/60 R15s and the shift from 1st to second was so fast that I COULD NOT keep the rears from yelping.

Based on my expereince with both standards and autos. I will never go to a manual trans. This auto is way too much fun. The mods disable the ability to ise the normal rev/park safety switch so I went to a dakota-Dig shift indicator. Which is a bonus because now I have a conditioned digital signal of which gear the car is in at all times....Works great for an Auto-NOS setup!

PS: ATO in Rancho Cordova CA. is where I had my trans built

PA is an awesome company. I use there products and there transmissions quite often. I just put one of there c4s in a 89 hatch it has a trans brake and the car now runs in the 10 second zone.
