Performance chip for 94 gt

I'm thinking of getting a chip for my automatic gt, do they make them for automatics? I've been looking around and they are quite pricey and the ones i've seen are for the 5 speed. I'm looking for an affordable good quality chip under 200. Any suggestions?

I have a Hyperchip for a 94 GT Auto that I won't be using. I couldn't tell you whether it was "good", that's a judgement call. But it did give a good SOTP feeling. PM or IM me and we can talk more; this should be kept out of te forums.

Anyone else, any input on the Hyperchips?

Why do you need a chip? On a pretty stock stang it's a waste of $$.

Timing is the culprit most of the time. You just have to find out what the car likes.

I wouldn't get a chip if I were you. Wait until you have some transmission stuff done so it's worth it, like gears and a converter. Then the chip will change your shift points accordingly and it will make a much better difference.
