Performance Shops

Pretty much any type of car shop can do those installs for the time being. Some of the "performance" shops might be a bit higher but it won't hurt to give a few of them a call such as: Strictly, Houston Performance, PSI, Slaters, Fatal, Fast Lane etc.

What part of Houston are you located?

Northeast side. Channelview/Northshore area.

I've shown up a few times in the poor little mustang and it wasn't all that bad. There are a few "ricers" there, though there are also some highly respectful import cars (a few 12 second rides and such)

Wow. I never thought about stopping because I always saw a bunch of teenagers over there and figured I was too old to be hangin with the kiddos (keep in mind I'm only 23 though).

Pretty much each meet there will be a few domestic guys there (fbods and mustangs mostly) and I usually park in the back of the store to avoid getting my car looked over :rlaugh:

It's pretty much a group type thing where everyone has their own clique, however I don't exactly "know" anyone out there so I just somewhat browse the lot and see whats going on.

Maybe us Houston area guys can eventually set up another HRP meet like we done before (keep in mind that my 14.700 was done at that meet so i'll be gunning for you PI guys that can't drive now :rlaugh:) Friday is the better day/night to go, though we could even go on a Sunday if that would be better for everyone.

Well actually the last little get together was just a few of us since we didn't really go out and make a thread about it or anything. It was during the "winter" time so the cars were running pretty decently though when not racing--the weather sucked :(

I actually got a chance to run against Mike (HoustonGT) and happened to cut a 2.6* 60' and a 16.1 1/4 :rlaugh: I was attempting to tree him in my little non-pi automatic with stock geared GT, however somehow the underpowered car decided to spin on me for quite some distance :(

I'll have the slowest car out there, though it's all in good fun and I don't mind taking a beating from you PI guys :D :nice:

For right now I need my Roush lowering springs, shocks, and struts installed (and an alignment).
I'll fly over and do it for 150...:D

Word of advise...get Caster Camber plates. I have Steeda Sport springs on my car and wore out a good set of tires since they had the toe adjusted as far as the stock plates would allow. Picked up a set of Maximum Motorsports CC plates and took care of that problem.
