I just bought a 1967 coupe mustang. The engine has been rebuilt with only 34,000+ miles on it a Edlebrock Performer manifold with Performer 600 cfm carb. What should I expect as for HP? The exhaust kit has been upgraded with new piping but not high quality mufflers. I plan on getting a magnaflow setup within the next two months. My main question was regarding the manifold and carb upgrade, and whether or not HP is increased?
Any tips on easy bolt ons that would be easy and not too much on the CCARD or Check book? Thanks

The Performer manifold is basically an aluminum stock replacement so probably not much gain at all. Other popular choices are the Performer rpm,Weiand Stealth, and my fave, the Edelbrock performer rpm air gap.
Since you have p.s., I would suggest some shorty headers, good dual exhaust and mufflers. The manifold I suggested and other mods should gain you 20-25- h.p. The biggest gains will come from aftermarket aluminum heads and a cam change, but those would kill your checkbook.

I'd first suggest you turn your engine around and install it front-side forward....

Right now... I'd guess the car will dyno at about 180HP at the rear wheels depending on a few variables.

I think mustangdave has given you great advice in regards to where to start for performance upgrades.

I agree on the intake and would push you towards a decent camshaft. You can get kits for around $100 depending on brand.
