performer rpm upper to lower gasket

i have an edelbrock performer rpm, uses the same gasket as the regular performer for upper to lower, but its on a brand new motor, and i keep having to take off the upper to mess with the valve train and retorque the heads...every time, the gasket from edelbrock rips and i have to get another. my stock gasket on my stock motor with what like 17 years of use and 160 thousand miles never ripped and still looked reusable.

so is there a felpro gasket i can buy to work with this manifold? these edelbrock ones are kinda crap if you ask me, and i need to go back in there and adjust rockers, so i'd rather put a different gasket and avoid having to buy new ones all the freakin time. thanks.

Yea im sure there is, felpro makes a WIDE variety of gaskets, if not, conact summit and see what they say. good luck

yeah I ripped mine apart too, its garbage...I used permatex ultra blue over the gasket and binded it nice to lower manifold and it always sticks to lower when I pull off upper
