I know there are a thousand catback threads. What I really want to know, is what some of you would do in my shoes.

I really don't care about preformance gains that I get from a full exhaust or other mods. I just heard the Magnapacks and I think they sound badass. I also hate how my stock tips look like crap.

So here's my question, is it a better deal just to get mufflers and tips to save money or will getting the full catback be better?

Also, how does one install a catback. I mean, I'm thinking of doing it at a shop because I really don't konw how I would weld my tips on. Any ideas on how much a catback install would run me?

Stock H and stock headers with magnapacks will sound pretty good right? I know it doesn't do much performance wise but I just like it sounding cool and looking nice (just got mach1 combo kit)

Thanks

get it right the first time. get a full catback..don't play around with welding mufflers on crappy pipes.
My SLP catback costs me about $70 to get it installed.

Full catback is the only way to go. The stock catback looks like a 3 year old bent the pipes with a fisher price hammer.

Call fullline and ask them for their best price. I promise it's very cheap LOL. I got mine for the cobra for almost $80 less than their advertised price.

try www.ninosport.com I called them 2 days ago on the magnaflow magnapack catback system for my 04 GT and the cost is $365 with free shipping. Seems like a good price to me when everyone else wants $400 + and shipping charges.
