Just wanted to share my recent experience with a company.

Derek Johnson at Modern Speed is one of the best I have ever dealt with. I order some parts from him and he did a great job at keeping me up to date on everything. I ordered a Boss big bore block, Kellogg 3.800" stroker crankshaft, and Oliver billet rods from him. Everything came in very quickly and all transactions were smooth.

His prices are awesome and the customer service is excellent. I could not ask for more.

I haven't been as active on Stangnet in the last few months as I normally am, so forgive me if this is a dumb question: do you have a car to put the motor in yet? I know you were looking around at some 96-98 Cobras a little while back.

I haven't even posted up pictures of the car. It's a 98 GT. I actually bought a supercharged 96 cobra, then was offered a good chunk for it, so I sold it and bought an Escalade. Then I bought this 98 and decided to build a monster.

I don't really have any pictures to post at this moment. I am in Pennsylvania working right now, and the parts were delivered to my house in Arkansas. I will be home in a week or 2. Then I will get pictures posted.

The car will have a T56 to start with, but will probably end up being switched out for a built 4R75W at some point. I plan on street driving it a lot, but with the set up I will have, most people will consider it a track car. The power adder/cylinder heads/intake/ ect will all be revealed shortly. Don't worry, you fellas will approve.

Lol. I just sent out the deposit for the power adder today. I will be picking everything up when I get home in about 2 weeks. The heads are being shipped out Wednesday, and MMR said it will be about 4 or 5 more weeks before the pistons are done being built.

Can't wait to get the parts in my hands so I can post pics and give more details.
