Alright so I was going to just post pics when the cars done, but I did some photoshopping on it, and figure why not see what you guys think. I have decided no matter what anyone says these are the colors Im using. Its a Mercedes Black up top, and a Nissan color on the bottom. I will be using a cream colored pin stripe to set the two off as well. Car will have Saleen springs, and 18" deep dish Bullitts with 245/265 tires for now. Might jump to some 285s in the future.

I am pretty much decided on the anthracite wheels, but might go black. And with the headlights Im thinking clear or smoked, but havent decided there yet!

So what does everyone think? I want all good and bad comments, no matter what you wont hurt my feelings!

Looks pretty good, but here are the bad things that I notice right away.

The black on top looks really fake. You can mess with the channel mixer and stuff to get more realistic black. You can't really see the lines of the car where its black on yours.

The wheels aren't centered perfectly. Not THAT big of a deal, but when I photoshop wheels, I try to get them as perfect as I can so it's hard to figure out whether or not they are photoshopped on.

Looks pretty good though other than those two things.

Show us the original pic to see what you started with.

I'm sure he wants opinions on the proposed work to his car, not the actual Photoshop job

Anyway, looks very slick and I would say to definitely go w/anthracite wheels. I also think the smoked headlights would flow better w/that paint job.

Black Wheels would set that car off

Not a huge fan of 2 toned or of the bottom color, but it is different and still really sharp

Actually its funny, the wheels werent chopped one, that was an actual car with those wheels, so if they look off center to you, its your eyes or his wheels are off center of his car...

As for the top black section I actually went in and made it look more realistic than it did before. Im sure there is more I can do, but for now it gives an idea.

Yes I was looking for an idea on the paint scheme and wheels, not necessarily the pshop, but I will take ANY criticism no matter what, it all helps.

I loved the way the smoked lights looked when I pshopped them, but they cost a pretty penny. I might just go with them because you only do it once, and might as well do it right. Also those tail lights in the pic are actually a good deal lighter than my real ones. For some reason my car had really dark maroon looking tails (look on my cardomain and you will see) and I might even buy some of that spray on stuff to darken them up a little more. Time will tell what I do!

Thanks for the opinions guys and keep them coming. Also to note the car will look like that, but if all goes right will have the performance to back it up. Might have 12 psi from an Strim next summer, and over 400 to the tires !

LOL, must be the angle. I thought they were PS'd on, and they just look a little strange.

It's a good combo though. Looks good.

I really like the combo and I like the fact that it is different. That is not the colors I would have chosen but they look surprisingly good together and I think the black wheels do blend better.

Well...i hate to show you this...but....

Untill about a week ago his wheels were stock colored too. Up the road from me is a guy in a mineral grey coupe that looks just like this one did before the black was painted on. The funny thing is, i wanted to do the SAME color scheme when i got my car. While yours is different..it's pretty much the same too.

I'm not big on the two-tone either. But, I like the wheels. Two-tones seem to look better (for foxes) if the break is at the point where Ford did it. Anyway, props for trying something different. It kind of has that Foose feel to it. Black is always cool and if mixed with a titanium, then maybe. Just my .02

I dont mind looking at that coupe, looks really nice on a real car! Mine was going to be Mineral Grey and Black, but I like the Nissan color better! He also has blue breaking it up it appears, and mines going to be a cream or beige color...

Also to note hes running 17x9 Bullitts... Im going with 18x9 and 18x10 out back!

Also I agree the smoked would look pretty nice. Might have to splurge and get them. Then darken the tails some, and see how it looks!

I like 17 inch wheels on a fox instead of the 18s.

My windows are already 15 I believe (maybe 20)... Remember the pic is pshopped was someone elses car with the wheels and stance I wanted, not my own car!

I never cared much for big wheels in the past, but after seeing the deep dish 18s on a fox I fell in love and bought my 5-lug parts to run this wheel/tire combo. Plus if I dont like the wheels and tires I sell them and buy something else, a LOT more choices in 5-lug, and with my set up Id only need a spacer to run any wheel I want (more or less)!
