hey guys i found a set of pi cams and intake for the stang but they have 130k miles on them, should i wait it out and get something with low miles or go for it?
will my stock npi cam gears and cam bolts work on the pi cams, plus the seller is telling me that i need spacers for the cam i have no idea what those are
i have a nice set of pi cams in awsome shape from an 02gt w/32k miles on them i'll sell them for $100. i bought the complete set of 02 headsand had them redone with comp cams 270's and bee hive springs and they are romeo heads. when i had sent the heads out to be done the guy told me that the pi cams were in great shape. if your interested let me know.
In the future please PM this info as there are no sales in the forums. Thanks...
To the OP...I found some very low mileage Comp 262's for 350 a few years back. Check around and see if you can find something like that. A little better bang for the buck (u may find cheaper) since you are breaking into the valve covers anyway.
I just called the ford dealer for the cam bolts, and im like "yea i need them for a 2002 GT" he's like what size engine is in it? I said its a GT a v8 hes like oh so would it be a 4.6 then, im like oh man who hired this guy, and i asked him for a clutch kit for a 97 GT, the guy is like sir is that a dual overhead cam? hahaha, oh great now he just transfered me to a line in a back room somwhere that nodbody ever goes too. Great 300 dollars for an oem flywheel 175 for the clutch disk and 260 for a flex plate and 120 for a throwout bearing. Hmm Great Deal, at least they have those bolts for 5 dollars each. DEalers suck
