I finially got my intake installed. A lot of fabrication but it works with no leaks. I took it to the track last night. I only go to make one run in it but I ran a 14.2 with a 2.25 60'. I think I could have went into the 13's if I would have shifted it at6 grand instead of 5. My best time before was a 14.4. None of these times has been done on drag radials or slicks.

Nice! Way to get it going and glad you picked up some time on your run to prove that this is a worth while upgrade. If it wasn't for this painting project inside my house that I'm doing, I could get to the garage and install mine. Good luck on your cam install as well.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I don't have the gears installed yet. I have had them forever and I have never had the time to get them installed. I figured that if I get some more practice then I probably could get into the 13's with the street tires. It was really cold and the track wasn't hooking all that great.

Man, your car is BEAUTIFUL. Every time I see one of your posts, I just drool over the avatar. I'm jealous. I thought Rio Red was a sweet color, but B.A. Blue is amazing. I'm going to headswap my car soon, but I'm probably going to do a Bullitt intake, because it just looks killer. I know it's no much extra performance, but . Anyway, keep that Stang beautiful.

Appreciate the kind words - it's a fun color to own. Headswap is good way to go for your car and If I were starting over, would be the way I would go as long as the money was there.
Update on my PI intake, was that I got it completed and is a fairly easy update to perform, much easier than the PI camswap. The PI cams/PI intake combo is definately worth it for people who can't perform/afford a full headswap because of skills and price IMO.
