my 96 gt has 95k miles on it and i want to replace the stock manifold since it was recalled. it hasnt cracked yet but i dont want to take any chances. i would like to swap it to a pi intake for the hp, but i need to know what is involved. what parts i will need. and how much will it cost? livernois sells a swap kit but it is kinda costly at $650.00. i wonder if parted out it can be done cheaper. http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product.phtml?p=457&large=1

to make this as painless as possible, use a PI gasket, and a dab of good RTV on the corner of the water ports ,It'll match up closer than you think .....

You need the PI coolant tube that runs in the valley, I don't have the part number, o-ring for the water pump nipple and alternator bracket. You will also need to tap and drill the extra temp sensor. Everything including the intake can be done for $200.00( brand new parts, if you know where to buy this from ) plus labour if you pay to have it done.

I was told you can use the original alternator bracket. Guess I'll find out this weekend.
