So as you can see in the picture the non-pi has the heater hose coming off of the rear passenger side but the pi intake I got off of a Mercury mountaineer has the heater hose coming off of the front driver side. Do I need a steel line going back towards the back of the intake? I'm not talking about the cooling tube that goes underneath the intake I already have that for the pi intake.

I'm doing a PI intake swap and I just ordered the pi heater tube I'm wondering which side of the back of the block this one bolts to. The non-pi bolts to the driver side back of the block but I'm thinking this pi heater tube would probably have to bolt to the passenger side. Thanks for any replies.
