PI intake swap?

Hey guys, well i'm about neck deep in the intake swap and need some help. I need to get the crossover tapped for the second fitting but all of the shops by me want to ship it out and have it done. The fastest i could get it done was 2weeks. Is this something i could do my self? If so what tools do i need to get it done? Any help would be awsome. Thanks

you should be able to tap it , but you might wanna find a tap the correct size before you start drilling , match it up to the threads on the sensor , NAPA or SEARS might have it , hopefully someone will chime in with some better advice in a minute , i have heard some talk about swapping out the aluminum part from one intake to the other , dont know how good that works though

Thanks for the reply. I would just swap the crossover parts but my npi intake is all plastic so that wouldn't work. Anyone else?

If you tap it yourself the correct size is 3/8 " NPT(National Pipe Thread). Any plumbing store should have a tap.

Does anyone know forsure if the aluminum crossover from a npi intake will work on a pi intake? I just called around and i can get one tomorrow for like $20 so if that will work than i would rather just do that.
