Is this a real PI intake? I only ask because the second coolant sensor is tapped.

Ebay PI Intakehttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00-01-02-Ford-Mustang-GT-4-6-4-6L-PI-Intake-Manifold_W0QQitemZ280248866575QQihZ018QQcategoryZ36474QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

yes, it's a good way in saving the money spent at a machine shop which is $20-30 - but that design has the integrated gaskets which I'd never trust and haven't proven the best. OEM on gaskets (besides head), always.

thats the OEM manifold. You need to buy intake gaskets separately.

That intake will work, just be careful - the first intake i bought was cracked in a bad spot and you couldn't see it unless you were looking for it. Budget PI swaps are hard to do I've found, buying used isn't the most reliable - and I lost money in the long run buying used.

You can tap the 2nd sensor where that flat circular deck is by the thermostat housing with a 3/4" 18NPSF pipe thread tap. Indeed, laser red sn95 FTW to teh fullest
