alright ive been around stangs for a long time, i know that the pi swap is really popular on the npi 4.6s. the question is, is has anyone heard or done it to a truck. i know theres not much help for the intake but id really like an opinion or advice.

I've been wondering the same, since I just picked up a f150 with a 4.6

I was also wondering if the mustang 4.6 would work to replace one in the truck (as far as bolting to the 4x4 tranny). I know I'd also need the harness/ecu.

Ford-trucks.com might be a better place to ask this kid of question though.

The trans should be the same. 4r75w or whatever in the trucks. The transfer case is after the trans.
