i know pi valves are a little bigger then npi valves, but can you put stock pi valves in a npi head with new valve seats? i can do valve seats at my school for pretty cheap, and maybe i could pick up some stock pi valves for a good price.
negative (at least to my knowledge) - you need valves designed for that head, oversized FTW. And unless you go to Wyotech or UTI make sure to be careful on those seat grinds, i know i messed up 50% of all the ones i did in school Luckily they were just practice heads anyway
Only the exhaust valve is bigger, and you wouldn't want it anyway, it is too big. Even the high dollar SVO heads use a smaller exhaust valve than the PI head. Your also better off having your porter do the valves and seats. Those can be worth just as much as the porting itself.
